It all started with an Easy-Bake Oven. As a child, I loved whipping up cookies and brownies for family and friends in my little “kitchen.” The smiles on their faces as they tasted these treats convinced me that food is about more than just feeding our bodies; it nurtures our spirits. Good food calls to mind some of our fondest memories and is often the centerpiece of our social gatherings. It’s no wonder the kitchen is called the “heart” of the home.
Since the days of that first toy oven, my kitchen has gotten bigger, and I’ve perfected a few more recipes along the way. But one thing hasn’t changed: I still love to connect with people through food. That’s why I started A Touch of Olive. I believe that good food can be both healthy and delicious, nurturing and filling. Taking the time to eat a healthy meal is one of our best forms of self-care. And I try to make it easy for anyone to have a quality home-cooked meal – whether it’s a busy weeknight dinner for one or a special gathering with the ones you love.
Cooking and eating should be joyful acts. And joy is what I hope my customers experience with every bite. It’s always an honor to be invited into homes to prepare meals that make people feel good. I look forward to adding “A Touch of Olive” to your next dining experience. See you in the kitchen….
